Laure Raibaut co-curated and produced this show for L’ECOLE in Hong Kong, an institution she regularly contributes to as a long time lecturer.

The exhibition was initiated thanks to an encounter her colleague at L’ECOLE in Paris made with the collector behind the largest Shakudo ensemble in the world. That led to the first major presentation of pieces of Jewelry made with Shakudo.

This metal alloy, originally the pride of samurai swords decorations, found its way on Jewelry for export thanks to the resourcefulness of the craftsmen behind it.

The show runs from December 12, 2024, until April 13 2025 at L’ECOLE in the k11 MUSEA
