<p class="font_8">Transcending the Gongbi Tradition: 工筆新傳<br>
Contemporary Hong Kong Fine-brush Painters&nbsp;<br>
As Art consultant to Hongkong Land, Nissa Bella Art Management supported the curator and the artists in the production of this exhibition. The show curated by Dr Chen Fong-fong brunch together nine gongbi artists: &nbsp;Brian Chan Kwan-lok, Sam Cheng Tan-shan, Cherie Cheuk Ka-wai, Eunice Cheung Wai-man, Barbara Choi Tak-yee, Sue Lai Kwan-ting, Jess Leung Lai-man, Joey Leung Ka-yin and Wilson Shieh Ka-ho. Different themes and styles are explored by the artists. The artworks reflect the contemporary interpretation of this classical technique. &nbsp;<br>
To foster the understanding of the medium, &nbsp;toolboxes showcasing the brushes, oriental ink and pigments used by gongbi artists are showcased and an educational program comprising talks is also offered.</p>
